This record was recorded in solitude in a fugitive bunker in the north of England. I spent six months encased in a pair of headphones, talking to virtually nobody. I think this latter fact is self-evident. Play it LOUD and preferably in one sitting.

All compositions written, produced and performed by Nick Hudson on laptop between Sept 2003 and May 2004 using guitar, voice, found objects, dog, xylophone, mobile phone, tone generator, bowed mandolin, drums, samples and various other impromptu ‘instruments’ employed through desperate resourcefulness. ‘Hybristophiliac: Tex Fetish’ is dedicated to Dennis Cooper, Tex Avery, Peter Sotos, John Zorn and Yamatsuka Eye. ‘Blubberfux’ is a remix of ‘Rubberdux’ by Paul Stanway, my good friend and collaborator in the on-hiatus Berlin Wall Of Sound. The remix opens with multi-tracked recitals of texts by Charles Baudelaire, Jean Genet, Arthur Rimbaud, Peter Sotos, Dennis Cooper and Henri Michaux.
